How to Configure TS Session Broker
Before you can begin configuring TS Session Broker you need to add TS Session
Broker as a role service under Terminal Services.
Once TS Session Broker is added as a Terminal Services role service, review
the information about the new role service before confirming its
installation.
Once you have added TS Session Broker as a new Terminal Services role
service, you can add computers running Terminal Server to it.
You can do this by navigating to the Session Directory Computers security
group and selecting the members that belong to this group.
You can easily add computers running Terminal Server to TS Session Broker by
browsing for them in the list of users, contacts, computers, and groups in your
forest.
You can refine your search by choosing only the Computers object type.
This shows you the list of all the computers in your forest. For this
demonstration, only the domain controller and a terminal server are being used.
So, here you can see the domain controller NYC-DC and the terminal server
NYC-TS1.
After adding all the Terminal Server computers you want to TS Session Broker,
you need to create a group policy for TS Session Broker.
You can do this in the Group Policy Management console by creating a new
group policy object.
You can name the group policy in a way that is easy for identification.
After creating the group policy object, you open its settings and edit its
configuration so that the new group policy object links to the TS Session Broker
role service you have installed.
